43 year-old Benji Pauline Brown of Loveland, OH was found sleeping in a stolen vehicle at a rest stop, along I-71 southbound.

When Police approached Brown she fled in the stolen Dodge Caravan along I-71 southbound reaching speeds up to 125 mph. She was finally stopped, when she crashed into a Highway Patrol Cruiser near Western Row Road.

Brown was taken to the Warren County Jail and is facing charges of Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing and Eluding, Felonious Assault, Resisting Arrest, Reckless Operation, and Driving without a License.

Two officers were hurt in the chase, a Mason Police Department Officer sustained injuries to his left arm after attempting to deploy stop sticks, he was treated and released. A State Highway Patrol Trooper sustained minor injuries to his right hand and forearms as a result of the crash, he was treated at the scene.

Police do not believe Brown was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
