(CINCINNATI) - Two Hamilton County police officers were injuried while assisting a disabled vehicle Saturday Morning. Deputy Eric Kidd (pictured above left) and Deputy Tony Lipps (pictured above right) were assisting the car on northbound I-71 near Kenwood when a vehicle driven by 37 year-old Chico Thomas, from Cincinnati, lost control and struck the Sheriff's vehicle.
Thomas's vehicle then struck a 2007 Hyundai Sante Fe, which was occupied by 26 year-old Jessica Wiseman from Fort Thomas. Deputy Kidd was injured when dove into the roadway and Deputy Lipps was also injured after jumping overtop a guardrail.
Kidd, Lipps, and Wiseman were transported to Bethesda North Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition. Thomas was cited for Failure to Maintain Reasonable Control of a Motor Vehicle and Operating and Un-Road Worthy Vehicle.
