Octoberfest Zinzinnati hits Downtown this Weekend

(Cincinnati, OH.)--Oktoberfest Zinzinnati started up again early Saturday morning on Fountain Square with the opening ceremony parade and keg tapping.

The world's largest chicken dance gets underway at 4 o'clock, Saturday led by Cincinnati's own Drew and Nick Lachey.


The Samuel Adams Stein Hoisting Championship with be at 5 p.m. Saturday, on Fountain Square.

The Glockenspiel will be held every hour on the hour, at Fifth & Broadway with local celebrities.


The party runs until midnight and starts up again Sunday at 11am and runs until 10pm.

The 5th Annual World Brat Eating Championship will be on Sunday, at 5:00pm at Fifth & Broadway. Joey “Jaws” Chestnut, the top ranked competitive eater in the world, will participate in the fifth annual World Bratwurst Eating Contest.

America's largest Oktoberfest celebration started in 1976, and grown host more than 500,000 people each year.
