High Speed Chase Ends With Car Into Home

(Union Township) A witness said he was on his way to work Thursday morning when car flew by with law enforcement in pursuit.

"They were going about one hundred miles per hour when they flew by," said the man who witnessed the event, "that's when that guy lost control and ended up with about three-quarters of his car into the side of a house." 

Dispatchers told 700WLW the officer pursuit started in Highland Heights in Campbell County around 5:30 a.m. and continued onto I-275. The male suspect driving a stolen car from Dayton, Ky exited and lead officers in pursuit to the Mt. Carmel Tobasco Rd. He lost control, went through a yard and into the side of a home at 4307 Mt. Carmel Tobasco Road at Ross Lane not far from Clough Pike. A man who lives there was not injured. The driver, believed to be injured, fled the scene. Officers searched for the suspect, described to be wearing dark clothing, for about an hour before finding him and taking him into custody.
