Former Sheriff's Supervisor Pleads Guilty

( Hamilton County ) - A former supervisor in the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department Property Room, his wife, and his wife’s son could face 10 years in prison after admitting to stealing and selling drugs and jewelry from the Sheriff’s Property Room from June 2012 through February. 

Michael Esposito will plead guilty to 2 counts of Aggravated Trafficking (felony 3), 1 count of Trafficking in Drugs (felony 4), 1 count of Theft of Drugs (felony 4), and 1 count of Theft (felony 5). Allison Esposito, his wife, will plead to 2 counts of Trafficking in Drugs (felony 3), 1 count of Receiving Stolen Property (felony 4), and 1 count of Receiving Stolen Property (felony 5).  Adam Fintak, Allison’s son, will plead to 2 counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs (felony 3), 2 counts of Receiving Stolen Property (felony 4), and 1 count of Receiving Stolen Property (felony 5).

Investigators say Esposito would give the drugs and jewelry to his wife and stepson for them to distribute.

The information was filed Wednesday morning with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts and assigned to the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Judge Steven Martin. 

No word yet on the hearing date.
